About Psychana Summit DC

Uniting Spirit, Science & Storytelling to Heal a Nation.

Psychana Summit DC is a sacred gathering rooted in the mission of Psychana Church—a federally protected religious organization that honors sacred mushrooms, cannabis, holistic health, and natural remedies as pathways to healing, spiritual growth, and personal transformation.

This summit is more than a conference—it’s a movement. A convergence of science, spirit, and storytelling, designed to explore and expand access to emotional wellness, mental wealth, and cognitive liberty.

Founded by Nurse Colleen, a registered nurse, educator, and wellness advocate, and Bryan from Hyphae Labs, a pioneer in psychedelic science, harm reduction, and mycology education, Psychana represents the next evolution in community-based healing and sacramental practice.

Together, Colleen and Bryan—alongside a trusted circle of spiritual and clinical partners—created Psychana Summit DC as a platform to uplift sacred mushrooms, cannabis, and holistic approaches to health. This summit is especially dedicated to those on the front lines of suffering and service: veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and individuals navigating trauma, addiction, PTSD, or chronic pain.

Every event hosted under the Psychana banner is:

Grounded in compassion

Protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA)

Guided by the belief that we don’t heal in isolation—we heal in community

From Vision to Movement: The Evolution of Sacred Gathering

Before Psychana Summit DC, there was a growing need for spaces where sacred medicine, holistic healing, and conscious community could thrive. That vision began taking shape in 2021 through a series of groundbreaking events led by Colleen Murray, RN—a registered nurse, educator, and advocate for intentional plant medicine use.

These gatherings brought together thousands of attendees from across the country to explore cannabis, psychedelics, and alternative health through immersive experiences, expert panels, and healing modalities like acupuncture, yoga, and sound therapy.

Past highlights include:

- Miami (Feb 2022) – 8,000 attendees

- Florida International University (July 2022) – 2,000 attendees

- Miami (Feb 2023) – 13,000 attendees

- St. Pete (July 2023) – 3,500 attendees

What started as a bold vision became a trusted platform for education, connection, and transformation.

Now, that momentum evolves into something deeper—with Psychana Summit DC.

Hosted under the spiritual mission of Psychana Church, and co-founded by Nurse Colleen and Bryan from Hyphae Labs, Psychana represents the next chapter in the movement: one that is spiritually grounded, policy-conscious, trauma-informed, and rooted in collective care.

In Washington, D.C.—the heart of national policy—we gather to uplift frontline voices, sacred traditions, and the right to heal.

At Psychana, we are committed to significantly improving the mental health and wellbeing of veterans, first responders, doctors, and nurses.
